Pratt Display is honored to have received the StoreBrands 2016 Supplier Pacesetter Award in the “Merchandising and/or Marketing Support for Store Brand Products” category for the 100% recycled modular display program that was developed in partnership with The Kroger Co.
In addition to lowering costs through the implementation of a modular display program which allows for higher order quantities and reduced complexity during assembly, Pratt Display also helped Kroger achieve its sustainability goals through a closed-loop recycling program. Bales of old corrugated cartons and mixed paper from 255 Kroger stores serviced by the distribution centers are back-hauled and transferred to Pratt Industries’ Conyers campus where they are converted to pulp and recycled.
Chris Wachtel, national accounts director for Pratt Display notes, “We use our expertise to guide clients to identifying and understanding their retail marketplace needs and goals and then tackle them together. It [the award] highlights that we are not only a sustainability focused company, but also one that knows how to optimize customer budgets to increase sales and ROI in the marketplace.”
This is the second year in a row that Pratt Display has been recognized at the Supplier Pacesetter Awards. Last year they were honored in the “Environmentally Responsible Manufacturing Practices” category.
