Pratt Industries Recognized as a 2019 Spirit of Excellence Award Winner by Hormel Foods Corporation
Award Highlights Supplier Contributions to the Company’s Continuous Improvement Process
ATLANTA – July 21, 2020 – Pratt Industries was recently named a Spirit of Excellence award winner by Hormel Foods Corporation. Each year, select Hormel Foods suppliers receive this award for their contributions to the company’s continuous improvement process in the prior year. The award recognizes Pratt for demonstrating the highest levels of quality, delivery, service and customer support throughout 2019.
“We are honored to be recognized by Hormel Foods as a Spirit of Excellence Award winner,” said David Dennis, Chief Commercial Officer, Pratt Industries. “We strive to provide the most sustainable, cost effective, efficient packaging possible to our customers and continuously work to improve our processes to provide them exceptional value. We are proud to collaborate with Hormel Foods and appreciate their recognition of our dedication to their continuous improvement process.”
Suppliers who receive the Spirit of Excellent Award maintained a Hormel Foods-designated minimum supplier rating index score for a 12-month period. This score is determined by a universal measurement system that Hormel created in 1990 to ensure each of their suppliers adhere to the same standards. Award criteria include meeting performance requirements, making on-time deliveries and providing high-level customer support. Recipients of the award come from a variety of industries including packaging, transportation, procurement and ingredient suppliers.
