Last October, at the Global Food Forum in New York City, we started a national conversation about how to double the sales of the American food production industry and create millions of new American jobs.
In this follow up appearance on Good Day LA, Anthony continues the conversation by discussing the importance of California to the success of this mission – and the two key problems that need to be overcome:
- Water Shortage: Desalinization, drip irrigation and other technologies are key to addressing this environmental threat to food production.
- Labor Shortage: Up to 20% of food in the field is being left in the field due to labor shortages. Automation may help to resolve some of these challenges.
